Watch: Royel Otis - I Wanna Dance With You

The Eora based duo announce their forthcoming EP with this exciting slice of indie pop bliss.

Eora/ Sydney indie duo Royel Otis follow on from their internationally acclaimed single Kool Aid and a successful European and UK tour in the last half of 2022, with the news that their forthcoming EP Sofa Kings is set for release March 31st, treating us to the second single lifted from the 7-track collection - a sunny alt-pop belter titled I Wanna Dance With You

With an upbeat tempo, shimmering guitar twangs, pumping bass lines, and twinkling runs of keys priming the dance floor, Otis entice you to join them in this dance with warm, yearning, layered vocals, sharing “Gather the courage to tell someone how you feel but muck it up like Frank Spencer on roller skates. Put that image to the banjo scene from Deliverance and you have yourself the recipe for ‘I Wanna Dance With You’. Just play it all off as intentional and you’ll be alright." Accompanied by a fun and youthfully nostalgic clip following the narrative of a boy anxiously preparing for a dance party with a crush, I Wanna Dance With You encapsulates a joyous and lighthearted innocence of young love that we all can relate to.

Out now via Ourness, be sure to get across the charming pick-me-up of I Wanna Dance With You below, as we eagerly await Royel Otis' full EP release come March.
